About

MEEC 2014 iS March 1 & 2, 2014.

The Midwest Ecology and Evolution Conference (MEEC) is an annual migratory conference that is student hosted and attended from institutions located in the Midwestern United States.  The conference supplies an outstanding opportunity for graduate and undergraduate students to showcase their research, network with students and faculty from surrounding institutions, and make connections with potential graduate or post-doctoral advisors.  MEEC provides a low pressure, safe environment for young scientists to explore new ideas, practice their delivery of scientific findings, and present at a regional conference.

Both oral and poster presentations will be scheduled over two days in addition to plenary speakers.  There will also be an informal gathering on Saturday evening, which will give an opportunity to socialize with other students from nearby universities, as well as with the plenary speakers.
